Overview
City Council adopted an Erosion Control Ordinance in order to codify the City’s response to comply with Federal and State mandates from the Clean Water Act. This ordinance provided technical and legal guidance for the city’s Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) as well as for the development community for both pre-construction and post-construction erosion and sediment control Best Management Practices (BMPs). Additionally, the ordinance identifies enforcement tools and associated penalties for violations.

General Engineering Requirements
Revisions to the City’s Stormwater Quality Protection Ordinance were adopted in June 2006 and provide guidance for pre-construction and post-construction erosion and sediment control BMPs.
